As you might have heard, Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch tomorrow so until they do, the Cupertino company has reportedly told developers to not provide details on upcoming apps in a bid to keep the details under wraps. This includes revealing screenshots, videos, or launch information. In fact some devs were told to hold off on any announcements until late March or early April which is presumably when the Apple Watch will be released.
At this point in time it’s really anyone’s guess as to what kind of apps will be available for the Apple Watch at launch. Sure, we’ve seen a handful of concept renders which show how some people think apps will run, but we guess Apple really doesn’t want anyone to know until everything is good and ready. Given what a big deal the Apple Watch is and how this is a new product category Apple is entering, it is understandable that they want everything to be “perfect”. In any case if you’d like to learn more about the Apple Watch, check back with us tomorrow at 10AM PT for the details.
