The Sony Xperia Cosmos is a mid-ranged device that we have been hearing about for a while now. The handset has yet to be officially unveiled and thanks to a recent tweet by @upleaks, another image of the handset has surfaced. This image is more or less in line with an earlier leaked one except that this photo is a bit clearer.
In it you get to see the handset’s display more clearly and you can also see the phone’s front-facing camera along with what appears to be an LED flash. Front-facing cameras with built-in flashes aren’t very common but as the handset is said to be marketed as a selfie phone, we guess the flash would make sense and would help to contribute to better photos in low-light situations.
Unfortunately the hardware specs of the phone still remain a bit of a mystery. For example at the moment it has been speculated that the handset will be powered by a MediaTek processor and will most likely run on Android 5.0 Lollipop (as evidenced in the photo). It is also said to have a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash, as we mentioned earlier, but that’s about it.
Recently Sony France had tweeted a teaser in which they mentioned that a phone would be announced soon. While it’s anyone’s guess as to what it might be, we are hoping it might be the Xperia Cosmos as we are looking forward to learning more about the device.
