g4 renderThe LG G4 was not announced at MWC 2015 which means that it will most likely be launched later this year. At the moment we can’t be sure of what the handset will look like, but early rumors have suggested that LG could be redesigning the handset from the ground up, and now thanks to a photo tweeted by @OnLeaks, we could be getting our first look at it.

According to @OnLeaks, this is apparently an early rendering of the upcoming LG G4. He notes that this might not necessarily be the final design and assuming it is true, we guess it does help clue us in as to what we might be able to expect from the final device. The rendering also shows off a slightly curved design reminiscent of the LG G Flex 2.

In fact save for the button in the middle, the design of the camera and placement of the flash appears to be similar, but perhaps that’s the new design direction that LG will be heading, but it definitely looks different from last year’s LG G3. So far LG has not confirmed any of the specs of its upcoming phone.

However the rumors are pointing at a possible fingerprint scanner, use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, a 5.3-inch QHD display which is actually slightly smaller than the LG G3’s display, and a 16MP rear-facing camera with presumably the same features as the LG G Flex 2 like laser autofocus and OIS.
