Acer Announces New Chromebox CXI Starting at $350

If you’re in the market for a new computer that is neither powered by Windows or Mac, perhaps you might be interested to learn that Acer has recently announced their new Chromebox CXI. This is Acer’s latest Chromebox offering and it will be powered by a fourth-gen Intel Core i3 processor which will support external displays of the 2K and 4K variety.

What this means is that if you wanted to hook up a high resolution display, you can rest assured knowing that the Acer Chromebox CXI will be able to support it. The Chromebox CXI will also be accompanied by 4GB/8GB of RAM, depending on your configuration, and will also come bundled with a 16GB SSD. It’s not much but if you’re just planning to use the device to surf the web and type up some documents, we reckon it should be enough to get the job done.

The Acer Chromebox CXI will also come with an Intel HD GPU, WiFi, Bluetooth, an Ethernet port USB 3.0 ports, microSD card slots, and HDMI and DisplayPorts to help connect the device to external displays. It will also come bundled with a Google-approved keyboard and mouse and a VESA mount kit for those who were thinking about mounting the computer. The Chromebox CXI is priced at $350 for the 4GB RAM model and $400 for the 8GB RAM model.
