ZTE and China Telecom have teamed up to deliver a spanking new smartphone that will feature a 5.5” inch display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor, not to mention 2GB of RAM. In fact, just in case you were wondering where you might have laid eyes on the ZTE Q7-C in the past, this could very well be due to the fact that you have read about the ZTE Blade S6 smartphone before, except that the ZTE Q7-C happens to be larger in its size.
the ZTE Q7-C does come with a 3,000 mAh battery however, whereas the 5” Blade S6 will sport a smaller capacity 2,400mAh battery. What makes things all the more strange is the fact that the ZTE Q7-C is touted to arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box, whereas the smaller Blade S6 will be more updated in terms of its mobile operating system version with Android 5.0 Lollipop in tow.
Other hardware specifications are pretty much the same though, with a 1280 x 720 pixel display, a 13MP camera at the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal memory, 4G LTE connectivity, and dual SIM support. There is no word on whether the ZTE Q7-C will be sold outside of China, but only time will tell.
