However it seems that this is something Microsoft has thought of which might come in handy, especially to the enterprise user. One of the features that is part of the recently released Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones is the ability to remind the user of upcoming calendar events as the phone is in the process of shutting down.
Previously Windows Phone handsets would display a “Goodbye” message when shutting down, but with Windows 10 (as you can see in the image above), it will be able to display any upcoming calendar events you might have. This is a good way to remind the user that they have something else on later in the day should the phone not be turned back on to remind them of it.
Like we said this could come in handy in situations where you have to turn your phone off, like in a meeting, in school, or maybe you’re just low on battery. Pretty nifty, don’t you think?
