Chances are if you’re a fan of the Zelda franchise, you’ve probably gotten your hands on Majora’s Mask from back in the day. Given that Nintendo has decided to re-release the game for the Nintendo 3DS with updated graphics, we’re sure some of you are probably wondering if it’s worth it and if you should spend your money.
Thanks to a video that has made its way onto YouTube, you will be able to get an idea of how the current and latest version of the game compares to the original which was designed for the Nintendo N64 console. It is obvious that the graphics are much better on the 3DS version of the game. The lighting is better, there are more effects, and the textures appear to be less flat.
Of course one might argue that it is the old school graphics that is what makes Majora’s Mask, but like we said the updated graphics do make for a better-looking game, whether or not it will be able to recapture some of the memories of the past for some gamers remains to be seen, but hopefully this video should be able to help you decide whether or not the game is worth getting.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D was released on the 13th of February for North America and Europe, and 14th of February for those living in Australia and Japan, so you should be able to head to your local game store to get your hands on the game.
