T-Mobile’s Android 5.0 HTC One M8 Update Will Roll Out Today Instead

According to HTC, the Android 5.0 update was supposed to roll out to handsets within 90 days of its release, and for some HTC handsets that proved to be true. Unfortunately for carrier versions of the HTC One M7 and One M8, the update was delayed. Now we know that the update for T-Mobile’s HTC One M8 was supposed to be released yesterday, but it seems to have been delayed again.

Now before you start raging, you can rest easy because it seems that the update has instead been pushed to today, meaning that you should be able to update your handset later on in the day. For those who expected it to be released yesterday and were wondering why there was no update, now you know.

This is according to a recently updated T-Mobile support document which clearly states that starting from the 10th of February (which is today), the update will be making its way out to HTC One M8. We’re not sure why there was a delay in the update, or maybe there was a miscommunications and that the update was really meant for today, not yesterday.
