A couple of photos of the alleged Sony Xperia M4 Aqua have surfaced online, where it does have its fair share of similarities with the Xperia M2 Aqua that was released not too long ago. The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua could also be known as the Sony E2303 from earlier leaks, and if that were to be the case, then it would translate to a 5.2″ 720p display, running on a Snapdragon 615 chipset with Android 5.0 Lollipop as the mobile operating system of choice, a 13MP camera at the back with a front-facing 5MP camera, and both cameras are more than capable of shooting 1080p video.
While the Xperia M2 Aqua does have a rating of IP68, which would mean it is dust-proof and capable of handling dives of up to 1.5m for 30 minutes, it would be anathema to think that the upcoming Sony Xperia M4 Aqua could not match such specifications at the very least.
