At the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas this January Samsung showed off its latest flagship TV series, the SUHD 4K TVs, and even though the company didn’t confirming pricing at the event one look at the TVs was enough to make you realize that they wouldn’t exactly be cheap. Now purported Samsung SUHD 4K TV prices have leaked online, and that too from a source that has a good track record, meaning that it is highly likely these prices are close to the real deal.
If you must know, the prices have been leaked by hdguru.com, which has a solid track record with these things. It leans on information provided by industry sources that claim Samsung’s new TV sets will start at $2,500.
If this information is believed the cheapest model will be the 48-inch UN48JS8500 at $2,499. UN55JS8500 and UN65JS8500, 55-inch and 65-inch, priced at $2,999 and $3,999 respectively. These are flat TVs.
The curved models, UN48JS9000, UN55JS9000, UN65JS9000, UN65JS9500 with 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 65-inch screens, are priced at $3,499, $3,999, $4,999 and $5,999 respectively.
Finally there’s the mammoth 88-inch UN88JS9500 curved TV that is believed to cost a staggering $22,999. These prices are set by the manufacturer which means that retailers have little or no wiggle room to offer enticing pricing to customers.
Samsung has as yet neither confirmed or denied that this information is incorrect.
