Basically the antenna in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to have been built and designed in such a way that will allow signal to pass through the phone without its metal chassis affecting it. The new antenna type is said to be a flexible PCB versus previous iterations which relied on the Laser Direct Structuring type, thus allowing the antenna to snake its way through the phone to areas where it will be able to maximize its signal strength.
It sounds good in theory and hopefully when the Samsung Galaxy S6 is launched, which is scheduled for the 1st of March, there will not be any issues lest Samsung is faced with an “antenna gate” of their own which is what Apple had initially experienced when they first launch the iPhone 4. In any case for more information regarding the Samsung Galaxy S6, do check back with us during the phone’s launch on the 1st of March for the details.
