GRID is NVIDIA’s game streaming service that allows users to stream PC games on the SHIELD Portable and the SHIELD Tablet. NVIDIA has put in its own systems in place for this game streaming service which currently works only with the company’s own devices. GRID lets users play a decent collection of full PC games on their handheld devices. The latest game to be added to this service, which is still in beta mind you, is Saints Row IV.
NVIDIA first unveiled the GRID game streaming service some two years ago. Since then the game library has steadily been built up and as of next month 40 full feature PC games will be available for streaming through the service.
Saints Row IV is live on NVIDIA GRID today so anyone who uses this service on the company’s portable machine or the tablet can start playing right away.
Another title being added to GRID later this month is Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake. It will arrive on February 24th. The sequel of this game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, is already available for streaming.
On March 3rd, Metro: Last Light Redux will make its way to NVIDIA GRID, making it the third major title that the company is adding to its game streaming service over a fortnight.
