Report “Confirms” Samsung Galaxy S Edge With Three-Sided Display

According to recent reports, it has been “confirmed” that Samsung will be launching two flagship handsets at MWC 2015 – the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge. Given that the Galaxy S6 will be the successor to last year’s flagship, we can only imagine that Samsung will be keeping the best hardware for the phone, but as it turns out that might not be the case.

A recent report from Bloomberg has revealed that Samsung could be giving both phones the equal treatment. Bloomberg claims that they have heard from their sources that both phones will feature all-metal builds and that just like what the rumors claim, the Galaxy S Edge will indeed feature a three-sided display.

Bloomberg’s sources also claim that both phones will feature a 5.1-inch display which seems to be in line with some of the rumored specs we have heard so far, and that both handsets will be relying on Samsung’s latest and most advanced processors which could be the Exynos 7420, thus confirming the rumors and speculation that Samsung has ditched Qualcomm.

Recently the specs of the upcoming Galaxy S Edge made their way online courtesy of a benchmark sighting which hinted some pretty amazing top of the line specs. In any case take it all with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us in the coming weeks for more details, if not at Samsung’s event which will be held on the 1st of March.
