Razer has just unveiled a revamped version of its Blade Windows 8.1 notebook. The new Razer Blade brings more power to the table with its Intel processor aided by more memory, NVIDIA graphics and topped off with a 14-inch QHD+ display. The IGZO or Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide display panel technology promises unmatched color and image quality.
The new Blade touts NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM which pumps out impressive graphics on the QHD+ display. It also has 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L RAM with SSD options available up to 512GB.
To improve performance and battery life this notebook is capable of automatically switching between NVIDIA graphics and Intel HD Graphics 4600 seamlessly thanks to NVIDIA Optimus Technology.
The built-in graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M with 3GB VRAM is powered by NVIDIA’s Maxwell architecture that promises improved power management and increased performance.
Razer Blade gets 2.6GHz of quadcore processing power from the Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor which with Turbo Boost can increase speed of active cores up to 3.6GHz.
Razer’s new notebook starts at $2,199 and will be available on Microsoft Store and through select retailers from February 16th. It can be ordered online from Razer’s own store right now.
