World of Warcraft players are probably looking forward to the next major patch that will be released for the game – Patch 6.1. The update is not only going to introduce bug fixes and balances to the game, but it will introduce a bunch of new features, events, items, and more, but the question is when it will be released?
The good news is that according to Blizzard, it seems that they have pegged the update to be released on the 24th of February which is next Tuesday, and it also makes sense given that Tuesdays are usually reserved for patches, server maintenance, and rolling restarts. The final patch notes have yet to surface but we reckon it will most likely be released closer to the update.
As a quick recap for gamers who might have not been following the news, Patch 6.1 will be a hefty patch. It will introduce the new Blood Elf models to the game, considering that the race is one of the few remaining that have yet to be updated. It will also bring back Heirloom items to vendors in the main cities.
It will also introduce a mini racing game at the Darkmoon Faire, improved color blind settings, a selfie camera, and also the ability for gamers to tweet within the game itself and attach screenshots and whatnot. In the meantime you can get an idea of what to expect in the video released by Blizzard above.
