There are some handsets in this world which would see a restricted release, or a limited roll out – and there is a very good reason (usually) by the hardware manufacturer to take that particular step. For instance, we have word that the upcoming Oppo 3000 which has just been unveiled in China – well, it looks set to remain just in the world’s most populous country, that is all.
This particular smartphone from Oppo cannot lay claim to the title of being the “world’s thinnest smartphone” just like the Oppo R5, and neither does it arrive with a fair number of innovative features that would make you sit up and take notice right from the get go. No sir, the Oppo 3000 happens to be a mid-range device that intends to deliver nothing more than an exceptional experience without breaking the bank. Of course, this means it will not have top notch hardware – and so one should not expect to see blazing fast performance benchmarks, either.
The Oppo 3000 will feature a 4.7” 720p touchscreen display, a 5 MP wide-angle front camera, and an 8 MP Sony IMX179 camera sensor at the back that boasts of f/2.0 aperture and has a five-element lens. Any takers for this mid-range handset, if you happen to reside in China?
