It is interesting to note that the depiction of military hardware is not something new to be grasped at all for large aviation companies, and it is certainly a way to blow one’s trumpet, if you may classify it as that. Our friends living across the pond, BAE, is also “guilty” in a similar manner when it revealed the unmanned stealth fighter known as Taranis in recent memory.
Right now, Northrop Grumman happens to be right smack in the middle of a war – the bidding kind, alongside Lockheed Martin and Boeing to roll out the next generation stealth bomber for the US Military. It will definitely be an interesting race to see which company wins out in the end.
