New Assassin’s Creed Title Coming In The Next Fiscal Year

Like many major titles that came out last year Assassin’s Creed Unity was also delayed and when it was ultimately released the game was riddled with bugs from the very start. This obviously didn’t lead to a good gaming experience even though the developers worked hard on getting the patches out. Could Ubisoft ensure that this doesn’t happen with a future release? For that we must wait until the next fiscal year because that’s when the new Assassin’s Creed title will be released.

This information comes straight from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot who revealed that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title will be released in the next fiscal year, he was on a financial call for investors and analysts after the company reported its latest quarter results.

Guillemot mentioned that the new title will be based on Assassin’s Creed Unity’s technology and said that Ubisoft is confident that it won’t repeat the same mistakes it made with Unity.

Ubisoft itself, and fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, would certainly not want a repeat of the launch performance we saw once Unity was released. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

No further information is available about the new Assassin’s Creed title as yet, though it is rumored to be called Victory, and previously leaked screenshots have suggested that it might be based in Victorian London.
