Now we have seen Google launch Android One handsets in countries such as India, and it looks like Android One handsets have now made their way to the Philippines. Google has recently announced two new Android One handsets courtesy of their partners Cherry Mobile and MyPhone.
Unfortunately Google did not mention what kind of specs we might be able to expect from these new Android One handsets, but assuming Google did not deviate too much from their previous releases, we could be looking at FWVGA display, quad-core MediaTek processors, 1GB of RAM, and etc., although Google did mention that they would be powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Google has also added features such as Chrome browser data compression and YouTube offline which will help reduce the amount of data being consumed as not all countries and carriers offer unlimited data, and sometimes data can also be expensive when it goes over its limit.
