Is it me, or is the Mortal Kombat franchise getting milked for all that it is worth – at least for the moment? Well, it looks like there will be collector’s editions for Mortal Kombat X as announced by Warner Bros. Depending on what floats your boat, customers will be able to pick from the Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition, where that will narrow down your picks between premium and limited editions.
Regardless of which version you finally decide to drop some serious coin on for, they will both carry the base game (but of course!), and will be available for pre-order from participating retailers in North America. Do take note that everyone who decides to place a pre-order will also be on the receiving end of Goro as a playable character.
Apart from that, they will include the Kombat Pack which contains a quartet of additional unnamed fighters that will actually be a mix of classic and guest fighters. Do bear in mind that Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition will retail for $149.99 a pop, which is then available for PS4 and Xbox One. As a potential Mortal Kombat gamer, or a fan of the past franchise titles, would you simply settle for an ordinary version of the game?
