If there is thing which is really interesting where rumors are concerned, it would be this – the simple fact that rumors can carry just about any kind of news, and the maddening period where all you can do is sit tight and wait for enough time to pass by before such rumor is confirmed as the truth, or debunked to be a red herring in its heyday. Well, we have started to hear whispers of the Meizu MX5 arriving with some rather special hardware specifications, where among them include a high resolution camera and a fingerprint sensor that is not located on the home button.
The Meizu MX4 (as seen above) which was introduced to the masses in September last year looks set to be outdated then, if the MX5 is being prepared to be released. Still, the alleged Meizu MX5 should see a far off release date at the moment, but only time will be able to tell.
Whispers on the street point to hardware specifications on the Meizu MX5 such as a 5.5″ 2K display, a MediaTek SoC, 4GB RAM (!), a fingerprint scanner that could very well be located at the back, an a rather insane 41MP sensor for the handset’s main camera. What do you make of all that?
