Are you excited for the Warcraft movie? Given that there are about 10 million active subscribers to the game, it is safe to say that there will be many excited gamers who will be anticipating the upcoming movie. Now we can only assume that amongst those gamers, there are more than a handful of collectors and for these collectors, you will be pleased to learn that there will be toys made from the Warcraft movie.
Legendary, the studio behind the Warcraft movie, has recently inked a deal with JAKKS Pacific to produce toys based on the Warcraft movie. This includes “all action figures, basic and feature plush, playsets, role-play items and Halloween costumes and accessories,” so safe to say that pretty much all areas are covered, although we have to admit we are actually anticipating what the Halloween costumes could look like.
For those unfamiliar with JAKKS Pacific, they are the same company that has produced licensed toys for the recent Godzilla movie, as well as toys made for the Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Nintendo franchise. Of course if the movie is a flop then we’re sure the last thing gamers want is to be associated with it, but hopefully that will not happen.
The Warcraft movie has been pegged for a release early next year. Filming of the movie has since come to an end and the remaining time will be spent editing it and putting it all together.
