Since last year we have been hearing rumors that Apple is working on a new iPad with a significantly large display, 12-inch to be precise, and that the company is going to call it the iPad Pro. Apple has neither confirmed nor denied any of the rumors attached to this product but time and again there have been leaks when hint that this product really is in the pipeline. The latest alleged leak is that of a case said to be for the iPad Pro.
Several pictures of this purported iPad Pro case have appeared online through a French publication but the case itself was sourced from a company in China that already makes accessories for the Apple iPad.
In one picture we are shown a comparison between the iPad Pro case and a similar product for iPad Air 2. Both cases have cut outs in the same places for volume, standby and camera buttons but the larger case can only fit the 12-inch iPad.
Recent rumors suggest that Apple might end up calling this tablet the iPad Plus, and that it will release an optional stylus later this year which would be compatible with this large tablet, geared primarily towards the business and education sector.
Apple has no major events scheduled in the near future so it is difficult to say if and when this tablet will be publicly unveiled.
The only major event in the near future is Worldwide Developers Conference 2015, which is more of a software affair rather than hardware, it seems unlikely that the iPad Plus will be unveiled there.
