Part of addressing the matter on the Blogger community forums saw a Google spokesperson citing that a fair number of folks have expressed their concerns surrounding the retroactive change, not to mention the negative impact that affects individuals who post sexually explicit content in order to express their identities.
Well, it seems that bloggers does have content that are in line with this alongside various policies which are related to adult content will no longer need to perform any kind of changes, but are strongly encouraged to mark such blogs as “adult” in order for them to be safely categorized under an adult content warning page.
Google did not provide a real concrete reason for this sudden change which was announced earlier this week, although this about turn shows that they would prefer to retain their users, and in the process, this means that rivals such as Tumblr will not be able to receive an exodus of users.
