If you use Google Play Music on iOS then the latest update is going to be of interest to you, particularly if you use the service on Apple’s tablet. Google has released a new update of this iOS application which now brings native support for the iPad. Basically what this means that Google Play Music will now look much, much better on the tablet since users will no longer have to use the enlarged iPhone app.

Apps that don’t have native support for iPad can still be installed on the tablet however they offer the experience that one would get on an iPhone or iPod touch. iPad users thus have to use those apps by enlarging them to somewhat fit the tablet’s screen. Its not a pretty experience.

On the other hand, native support provides users with the full-fledged experience, so obviously its much easier on the eyes. The latest update of Google Play Music for iOS also brings design updates, its now inspired by Material Design, apart from new artist and album pages.

A new “Now Playing experience” is included in this latest update as well. The updated Google Play Music app for iOS is now live and available for download from iTunes App Store.
