Google Maps Updated With Lane Guidance For Several European Countries
I am quite sure that the world has had its fair share of news concerning Nokia’s HERE Maps for Android, especially where it has exited beta, not to mention obtaining a worldwide update earlier this week, too. Having said that, what does Google have to say about all this? Action speaks louder than words, this as much is true, where Google Maps has recently scored a Local Guide feature, not to mention the fact that those living in the following European countries – Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland, would be the recipients of lane guidance.
Just in case you were wondering, lane guidance would allow you to enjoy a far more accurate turn-by-turn navigation when it comes to complex, multi-lane roads. This is definitely useful when you happen to be in a bustling city center, and there are way too many roads to figure out for a first timer, perhaps like the numerous highways over in Tokyo. It is nice to see such friendly rivalry up the ante between one another – as the customers or users would be the ones that benefit most from this show of one upmanship. At least you can kiss goodbye to taking a wrong turn now.
