Initially after the teasing an upcoming event at the Dota Asian Championship in the previous week, not to mention extra sneak peeks that happened on Monday and Tuesday, we have seen Valve also made confirmation concerning Dota 2’s New Bloom festival. The New Bloom festival has been specially themed to take after the Chinese New Year, which is set to happen some time next week. This is an annual event that will deliver a standard visual overhaul to the map where celebrations are concerned – and with it, also a new character – the Winter Wyvern.
Just what can the Winter Wyvern do? It will feature abilities that will not drop your jaws out of surprise, since it will be entirely ice-based – which you can tell by its name alone, of course, alongside mobility and healing abilities, not to mention an ultimate which would then enable her to force her enemies to lose their minds and go against one another. Not only that, Valve is also working on rolling out a brand new Arcana with New Bloom for the hero Crystal Maiden, which has been dubbed the Frost Avalanche, where it will deliver a slew of new animations, effects, cosmetics, and, of course, a wolf puppy which will follows her all over the map.
