Dell has not only unveiled its Venue 10 Pro Windows tablet, but they have also delivered the Dell Venue 10 Android tablet – where both models will target the educational market specifically, which means you would not be able to find these too easily in use outside of the classroom. Apart from that, these should be rather difficult for the layperson to get hold of in the first place.
The Dell Venue 10 Android tablet will arrive with Android 5.0 Lollipop (did you expect anything less?) right out of the box, whereas the Dell Venue 10 Pro will ship with Windows 8.1. running. As for the shared hardware specifications, expect both models to feature HD or Full HD displays, and both of them too, will be able to support NFC wireless communication.
As for the keyboard dock, it will come with a reversible hinge – and there is a very good reason for that particular design, since it enables one to make use of the tablets in notebook mode, or you can also opt to flip the screen around while making use of the dock in the same vein as that of a kickstand. The other features will be the likes of Wi-Fi and USB 3.0 connectivity, micro HDMI, a microSD memory card slot, 2GB RAM, and a bevy of storage choices, ranging from 64GB to 256GB. The Windows model is set to arrive first this coming March 3rd for $330 a pop, while the tablet with keyboard will retail for $50 more.
