“Cat Cam” Spotted In Final Fantasy 15

While we do know that Final Fantasy 15 will not come with any kind of cat characters – at least to date, it does look as though things might change down the road, especially when a recent demonstration which was showed off at the Taipei Game Show does provide a wee bit of footage that points in such a direction. Hey, a gamer does deserve to dream too, doesn’t he/she?

In one of the game’s stations, Square Enix did show off what they call a tiny “cat cam”, which is obviously still in development, of course. After the hero Noctis takes the bench, you will be able to see how the point of view will swaps over to a nearby cat. This tiny feline friend would then dash through the entire level, at the same time taking a break on several skinny pipes while visiting the other twinkle toed kitties along the way.

This is somewhat a similar approach to that of a “dog cam” demo that was shown off at Jump Festa 2015, and since this is a cat that we are talking about, there is a whole lot less sniffing around trash that goes on, as well as less peeing on posts and the ilk.
