Even though Samsung has been endlessly teasing its upcoming flagship smartphones the company hasn’t confirmed what they will be called. Everybody is assuming that Samsung will go with Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, history dictates that much, but some reports have said that the curved screen variant might simply be called Galaxy S Edge. AT&T may have confirmed monikers of the upcoming flagship smartphones if what has been spotted on its website is true.
Like T-Mobile and Sprint, AT&T was one of the major U.S. carriers who posted the same teaser on their websites, the only change was that the teaser carrier each carrier’s own colors.
AT&T’s website contains the names “Galaxy S6” and “Galaxy S6 Edge,” possibly confirming what we have thought about the monikers all along, or the carrier might simply be going on rumors that are floating around and may have punched in these names as placeholders. I should point out here that these names are only visible in the website’s source code and not visible on the page itself.
All three of the aforementioned carriers have published their pre-registration pages for Samsung Galaxy S6. Only Verizon is left out. Nevertheless all four major U.S. carriers will certainly offer the device once it goes on sale, some expect that Samsung will release the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in April.
