One of ASUS’ more recent ultra-thin notebook would be the ASUS ZenBook UX305, which has been announced in September last year actually. Still, this has not stopped the ZenBook UX305 from hitting the US, and the company has priced it in a rather competitive bracket against the rest of the competition. This new ZenBook UX305 Ultrabook measures all of just 12.3mm thin, and it tips the scales at 1.2kg, but do not be deceived by the relatively slim form factor of this device since it does pack quite a punch underneath the hood.
For $699 a pop, you will end up with the likes of a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) display, a dual-core Intel Core M-5Y10 processor, 8GB RAM, a 128GB solid-state drive, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a Micro-HDMI port, a trio of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, and a battery which is said to be able to last for the better part of 10 hours before it requires a recharge. There is also a souped up version of the ZenBook UX305 that is set to arrive later this April, where your eyes will be blown away by a 3200 x 1800 pixels resolution touchscreen display, and that model will carry a price tag of $999. Any takers for this particularly tempting device?
