The folks at GizmoChina have managed to get their hands on photos of what is allegedly the Lenovo Vibe Z3 Pro, which is the successor to last year’s Vibe Z2 Pro. From what we can tell, it looks like the Vibe Z3 Pro will feature a metal build like its predecessor, although what’s interesting is the fact that the camera has been designed so that when taking photos, the user will hold their phone horizontal like a regular camera.
It’s an interesting approach and one that has not been done by many OEMs, but it remains to be seen how practical this approach truly is. As for the specs, the Vibe Z3 Pro is rumored to feature a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset and will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It will also come with a 5.5-inch QHD display, and from the images it looks like it will come with a 16MP rear-facing camera attached.
It is also said to sport a 3,400mAh battery and will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop preinstalled. Now it seems a bit odd that Lenovo would announce a successor this early on, especially since the Vibe Z2 Pro has only been around for about half a year, but either way take it with a grain of salt for now and check back with us during MWC 2015 for the details.
