5th Grader’s Destiny Characters Deleted By A Heartless Person

“As easy as taking candy from a baby” might be a saying used to described the apparent ease of a particular task, but it sure does not reflect how cruel that can be in reality, although one must admit that babies should not be eating candy in the first place. Well, we have received word about how someone who is definitely on Santa’s naughty list this year actually deleted a 5th grader’s Destiny characters.

In a video posted on YouTube that hails by the very young Destiny player’s mother, she did mention, “As Henry’s parents, we are constantly reminding him to be careful, to never share your personal information, to always be on the lookout. But the truth is, no matter how many times a parent says this to a kid, when you’re in the actual situation, it’s easier to trust people you think are your friends because someone you actually know in real life vouches for them.”

Not only that, she also went the extra mile to contact bungie, the developer of Destiny to see if they could help, but Bungie did not want to break their policy as technically speaking, the 5th grader did hand over control of his PS4 in the first place.

Bungie has issued a cautious note on one of their weekly updates, touting, “Please be careful out there, kids. Bungie has some ideas for how we can make regrettable deletions like these less permanent. While we plan the right course of action (and build out new game features), protect your Guardians from sleazy online jerks — or dogs that step on your controller.”
