In September last year Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note Edge alongside its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. While the latter has already been released in most markets around the world the Galaxy Note Edge is hard to come by, and that’s mainly because this device has been produced in a limited quantity, and will only be made available in select markets. Looks like Verizon might start offering the Galaxy Note Edge to its customers later this week.
This is not the first time that the Galaxy Note Edge is being offered to customers in the U.S., the smartphone happens to be available on three of the four major mobile carriers in the country, it just so happens that the largest of them all is yet to formally confirm this device’s launch.
Phandroid claims to have received an image from a reliable source which reveals that Verizon is going to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge on January 8th, 2015.
The smartphone is said to be priced at $399 with a two year service contract, $799 off contract and $33.2 on the Verizon Edge installment program. Verizon hasn’t confirmed as yet if this launch really is going to take place on Thursday, January 8th, but seeing as how the day isn’t that far off any way we only have to wait for a couple of days to find out for sure.
