While not a huge inconvenience, it isn’t as efficient, and if you’d like a more efficient solution, Urbanears has unveiled their latest Plattan ADV Wireless headphones. As the name suggests, these are wireless headphones that pair with your media device via Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes with built-in support for swipes and gestures to allow you to control playback without needing a remote.
For example users will be able to tap their earcups to play/pause their music or to answer calls, and they can also swipe up or down to adjust their volume, and swiping left or right will let them skip songs. The Urbanears Plattan ADV aren’t the first pair of headphones to offer this feature and we’ve seen similar features from other OEMs in the past, like Parrot’s Zik headphones.
However unlike the Ziks, the Plattan ADV Wireless headphones are a lot more affordable and are priced at $99.99 each and will be going on sale this June. The headphones will feature an 8-hour battery life and its headband can also be removed to allow it to be washed in the event it gets dirty.
