It has been mentioned by Terry Myerson, head of Microsoft’s Windows division, that Windows 10 will see the arrival of universal Windows apps on the Xbox One. This confirmation has been a long time in coming, especially when it was at the Build conference last year that Microsoft first announced plans to introduce universal apps regardless of whichever platform one was using at the moment – be it a computer, tablet, smartphone, or a console like the Xbox One. In other words, the program would enable developers to come up with a solitary app that will run across multiple device types, saving money and time in the process. You don’t just kill two birds with this particularly potent stone, that is for sure!
