As you can see in the image above, the overall design of the phone is still the same in terms of its shape and size. However instead of having a solid color back, Sony has included some sketches instead. These drawings are said to have been inspired by the architecture of cities such as Berlin, Tokyo, and Warsaw.
They were designed by three different designers and apparently only 33 models have been made available, so safe to say that if you do not live in Germany, there’s a very good chance you will not be able to get your hands on them. We suppose there is always the possibility that a customer could be enterprising enough to sell them on websites like eBay for a premium, so that’s one place you can keep an eye out for the device.
Apart from the new design, the limited edition Xperia Z3 handset will pretty much maintain the same internals as its regular counterpart, so don’t expect any refreshed hardware for now. However if you do want refreshed hardware, it is possible that Sony could announce new phones at CES 2015 next week, or MWC 2015 a few months later, so do check back with us then for the details!
