Back in September 2014, Sony unveiled the Smart Watch 3. This is a smartwatch by Sony which sports a rather simplistic design, and while it has no problems offering users what they might expect from a smartwatch, the design does leave much to be desired, at least compared to other smartwatches such as the Moto 360 or the Withings Activite.
Well the good news is that if you were hoping for Sony to class up their Smart Watch 3, you’re in luck because according to a report from TBreak (via TheDroid Guy), Sony has reportedly unveiled the stainless steel version of the Smart Watch 3 at CES 2015. Now oddly enough TBreak’s original post has since been taken down.
We’re not sure what that means. It could either be that the news wasn’t supposed to go live yet or that TBreak got their information wrong, although there is a good chance that this could be the real deal as you can see in the image above. From what we can see, it looks pretty good and this is a Smart Watch we wouldn’t mind getting our hands on.
Apart from the stainless steel redesign, we expect the internals should be kept the same. No word on pricing but we can only assume that the stainless steel model will be priced slightly higher than the normal version, but in the meantime what do you guys think? Like what you see?
