Sony has not had a good end to 2014 – what with the hacking of their Sony Pictures division, not to mention seeing their gaming network hacked over the course of Christmas, much to the chagrin of gamers who were looking forward to some serious gaming time over the holidays. Well, the company has since put their troubles behind them, and in a move to patch things up with gamers, Sony has ensured that there will be a 10% discount applied at the PlayStation Store to those who were affected by the holiday outage.
In order to be eligible for this 10% discount, you will first need to cash in a code for a discount coupon on any of the PS Store frontages – be it on the web store, PS3 or PS4. Should you happen to be in possession of only a PS Vita or a PSP, then the web store would have to make do.
This particular code will be made available through the European and North American PlayStation Twitter accounts, and as for the Japanese code, it has already been distributed – so you might want to take down “8PLLN4L3DQ” in order to use it. The code can be used on just about anything except for PlayStation Plus subscriptions, Music Unlimited and movie rentals, and it will be applicable during the January 23 to January 26 time window period.
