In September last year Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note Edge. This smartphone was announced alongside the Galaxy Note 4 and what that smartphone has had a wide release Samsung had said from the start that the Galaxy Note Edge will only be released in select markets. It is already available for purchase in the U.S. and now our neighbours will soon be able to pick one up as well. The Galaxy Note Edge is soon going to be available for purchase in Canada.
Retailer Best Buy has already started to take pre-orders for Canadian customers looking to pick up this device. Those who want to purchase directly from a carrier would find the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge at carriers like Bell and Rogers.
Customers who purchase the smartphone through Best Buy will be able to buy accessories for it at a discount of 20 percent when the device is available.
So far neither the retailer nor the carriers have confirmed pricing and availability but that information shouldn’t be that far off. In the U.S. this smartphone costs $850 so that should given them an idea of what to expect.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge’s display is curved at the right corner, this “Edge Screen” can essentially be used as a secondary display for media controls and notifications. It is powered by a 2.7GHz processor with 3GB RAM and has a AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution.
