Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners have been anxiously waiting to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. They might have felt irked when they heard that Samsung has already rolled out the update for Galaxy Note 3 at least in one market. However there’s some new evidence to support the presumption that the Galaxy Note 4 Android Lollipop update release isn’t that far off anymore.
The alleged Samsung Lollipop release roadmap we saw a few weeks back hinted that these flagship devices will get the update starting early 2015. January is almost over so it really is about time that these updates were release.
As far as the Galaxy Note 4 is concerned previews of the Lollipop update have already appeared online revealing what users can expect from the latest release.
Sammobile points towards updated user manuals for three Galaxy Note 4 variants, SM-N910F, SM-N910C, SM-N910H, which have all been updated on Samsung’s website with screenshots from Lollipop. This could very well be an indication that the roll out is going to happen in the near future.
Samsung would probably release the update for unlocked and international variants first. Users in the U.S. particularly those with carrier locked devices should keep in mind that they may have to wait a bit longer as technical approvals for the update, which are granted by carriers, usually take some time to process which ultimately delays the release.
