Yes, if you were waiting to see what the Samsung Galaxy A7 had to offer, Samsung has made the handset official. The handset will be launched at the end of Q1 2015, although pricing has yet to be determined but we expect that this will differ depending on which market it will be launched in. Samsung has also announced that there will be two different variations of the phone.
One of the variants will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit chipset, while the other will be a 32-bit Exynos 5430 chipset. Both are of the octa-core variety with the former offering 1.5GHz/1.0GHz configurations and the latter will offer a 1.8GHz/1.3GHz setup. Other than that both phones are expected to be identical.
It will feature 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, Cat. 4 LTE connectivity, a 2,600mAh battery and will measure an impressive 6.3mm at its thinnest.
