Polaroid L Series Tablets Look To Deliver Average Android Tablet Experience
[CES 2015] The name Polaroid itself would conjure up memories of instant photographs, and we are pleased to know that the company is still hanging around. Having said that, they have since made the shift to expanding their hardware offerings to the masses, and Android-powered tablets is not a market taboo to them. In fact, their L series tablet range has just been enhanced with a couple of new models, namely the Polaroid L7 and the Polaroid L10. Simple in the naming convention, they are also equally easy to use.
In other words, you can expect an average Android experience with either one, and no doubt about it that the numericals attached to their respective model names happen to be a reflection of the screen size, being 7” and 10” in size, respectively. As for the hardware specifications in each of these tablets, they will be enabled with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, alongside what Polaroid claims to be “super-fast” quad-core processors, but until something concrete and official comes up, we will have to take their word for it.
There will also be cameras in front and at the back, in addition to front mounted speakers. Regardless of which model you choose, they will run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The Polaroid L7 will retail for $99.99 a pop, with the Polaroid L10 going for $149.99, and both of them will target a spring release date. [Press Release]
