Just yesterday thanks to a leaked photo, the Panasonic Lumix GF7 was revealed. For those wondering how real the specs were, you can rest easy now because it looks like Panasonic has officially announced the camera. This is the latest camera in Panasonic’s Micro Four Thirds lineup so for those shopping for such a camera, this might be worth checking out.
The Lumix GF7 will feature a 16MP sensor as was previously mentioned in our earlier report. It will also come with a tiltable 3-inch 1040k-dot touchscreen display that can be flipped up 180-degrees that will help users snap selfies, or for those who are looking for interesting angles, the tiltable display will probably help too.
The camera will come equipped with a variety of features, one of which is a Low Light AF mode that will help focus on your subject more precisely in low light settings without the need for an AF lamp, which is great for those discreet shots. It will also come with a Face Recognition AF mode, along with Eye Detection AF which can set the focus on your subject’s eyes.
Panasonic has also thrown in WiFi capabilities so that photographers will be able to control the camera remotely as well transfer photos/video wirelessly. The camera is priced at £429 and has been pegged for a release in March.
