Oppo has certainly been occupied today – where they have launched a pretty looking Oppo R1C smartphone earlier this morning, and another handset that rolled out alongside that sans all of the relevant fanfare was the Oppo Mirror 3. It does make me wonder what happened to the Oppo Mirror 2 and the Oppo Mirror – a quick search on Google turned up no results in particular, so it could very well be a brand new naming convention. Ah well, on to the specifications.
The new Oppo Mirror 3 will feature a 4.7” HD display that sports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, where it will run on a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor. Apart from that, expect to find 8GB of internal memory accompanied by 1GB RAM and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes in the Oppo Mirror 3.
Shutterbugs who love to snap selfies ought to find the 5MP front-facing camera worth checking out, while the back will carry an 8MP camera that by all intents and purposes, will be able to capture what’s going on around you without missing a beat. All in all, a 2,000 mAh battery will keep this bad boy running. While the Oppo Mirror 3 will be released in China for $280 after conversion, it remains to be seen whether the handset itself will be revealed outside of its home country.
