Nintendo is famous for rolling out many different designs for the same console – and this particular trait really took off with the Game Boy’s phenomenal success. Having said that, what you see above happens to be the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition, and boy does it look special in its own right. In fact, Nintendo has already invited a second wave of fans who are interested to pick up this upcoming console design, which is tipped to be released some time later this year if online reports were to be believed.
There has been a fair number of members of NeoGAF who have claimed to be on the receiving end of an invitation email, asking them to pick up the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition – which would make this the second wave after an initial wave of emails were blasted earlier in the week. Just what will the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition come with?
Of course, apart from the rather different design, this bundle will also sport exclusive Ambassador Edition cover plates, Super Smash Bros. cover plates and a charging cradle – and all of it are going for £179.99 a pop.
