However to be safe, Nikon has issued a set of instructions to D750 owners on how to get their cameras fixed if they are experiencing the issues themselves. Back then Nikon already acknowledged the issue and claimed that they were working on a fix, so presumably by getting photographers to send their cameras in, they might have figured out how to fix it.
The problem is believed to have been caused by an AF module. The module apparently gives off some internal reflections and because of its precise placement, it has affected the severity of the flare issue. If you own the Nikon D750 and you have experienced some weird reflection/flares in your photographs, head on over to Nikon’s website and enter the serial number for your camera.
Once that’s done, Nikon will provide you with instructions on what to do next in order to get your camera repaired and have this issue sorted out once and for all.
