WhatsApp is an extremely popular instant messaging app that has millions of users all around the world. The thing is, not all mobile platforms support WhatsApp. Having said that, a spanking new version of WhatsApp has already arrived on BlackBerry World, letting you communicate with your friends who are not on BBM (BlackBerry Messenger).
The latest version would see the version number bumped up to 2.11.1167.2, where it carries a mix of new features as well as fixes, not to mention covering a broad spectrum that is always a welcome addition as it showcases versatility, creativity and a willingness to break new frontiers. Apart from that, the WhatsApp experience intends to be more pleasurable than before.
New additions in the latest WhatsApp version would include a chats-list filter drop-down, not to mention being able to share locations to contacts from within the native maps app. Group and Contact info screens will also now be able to showcase additional media thumbs, while there is an improved reliability of uploading large videos, where the first 16MB will be sent. Not only that, you can also introduce privacy settings for Read receipts, amidst all of the miscellaneous fixes and updates, of course. Any takers for the latest WhatsApp version?
