It was just yesterday that we brought you word on how the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition is shaping up for a release, and here we are with news that there is a brand new Nintendo 3DS that is making its way over to North America in February – one day before Valentine’s Day, to be exact. Yes sir, you might want to next mark down February 13th on your calendar, as the above happens to be a leaked image of possible promotional materials for yet another makeover of Nintendo’s hot selling portable console.
The newly revamped 3DS was first launched in Japan in October last year, where there has been no official confirmation of a North American release, although this particular one might come close. The new Nintendo 3DS XL ought to hit Stateside in a couple of colors – red and black, and while the leaked ad does not show off the smaller new Nintendo 3DS, we do know that this smaller sized model will feature shades of black and white, in addition to colored buttons that pay homage to the old school Super Famicom controller.
If you already own a Nintendo 3DS, would new models of the same console actually move you to spend some more with your credit card or deplete your bank account?
