You might recall that back in 2014, Motorola announced the Turbo Charger. The device is available from Motorola’s website where it is priced at $34.99, but in case you were hoping for alternatives to the Motorola store, it seems that the Motorola Turbo Charger has been recently spotted at the Google Play Store.
Given that this charger will work with devices like the Nexus 6, we guess that kind of makes sense. For those wondering about the Turbo Charger, this is a charger that was announced last year and as its name implies, it will help to charge your phone quicker than regular chargers. For example Motorola is boasting that it will be able to charge a phone and give it an additional 8 hours of battery in just 15 minutes.
However it is limited in compatibility and will only work with devices that supports quick charging. According to the listing, this basically covers newer Motorola handsets and the Nexus 6, so if you have non-Motorola handsets or don’t have the Nexus 6, you’re out of luck. However it will act as a normal charger for non-compatible handsets, so if you wanted a charger we reckon this could work as well.
Interestingly enough the Motorola Turbo Charger also replaces the Nexus Charging Accessory. No word on when the Turbo Charger will be going on sale via the Google Play Store, but if you absolutely have to have it now, you could always get your hands on it via Motorola’s website.
